“There just aren’t enough live music venues on this side of the Bridge.”

Live music washes away the dust of everyday life and gives the soul room to breathe. It’s what feelings sound like. Once experienced, it becomes part of who you are… and it never dies.
Eastern Lounge is a much-needed live music venue on Sydney’s lower north shore. Established as a place for both emerging and established musicians to be heard, it’s also a unique space for those who love their music LIVE.
John Lennon once said: “Music is everybody's possession. It's only publishers who think they own it.” So come and enjoy your music as it’s meant to be experienced… LIVE, at Eastern Lounge, 64 Pacific Highway, Roseville. |

BRIDIE KING first came to national prominence as a blues and boogie pianist with her recording of Piano Frenzy on The Hippos' album Hippocracy in 1988. Working with The Hippos and later The Ratbags of Rhythm, she performed at major venues, including a support for Robert Cray at the Sydney Ent. Centre. Bridie has attracted many overseas performers to play as her special guests including Buddy Miles (Jimi Hendrix Band), Jimmy Vaughan (Stevie Ray Vaughan and The Thunderbirds), Johnnie Johnson, Soko Richardson (Tina Turner's Band) and members of Dire Straits. LUKE ESCOMBE introduced himself as a distinctive voice on the Australian music scene with his 2008 debut Golden Ages, which garnered national airplay and critical acclaim. In the last year, Luke has played venues from sweaty tin shacks in rural Queensland to Parliament House, Canberra. He’s appeared at the Melbourne and Adelaide Comedy Festivals - performances that won him passage to the renowned Edinburgh Fringe festival in Scotland. Luke is a hard act to classify. His songs range from dirty blues rock, to electro, to hip hop to 19th Century acoustic ballads. What unites them all is his infectious way of seeing the world… quite simply, he’s hilarious! Simply not to be missed. |
